Elm Residential Care supports and cares for young males between the ages of 7 to 17, who have been victims of Child Criminal Exploitation via ‘County Lines’.
The company was founded by former police officers from Lancashire Constabularies Child Exploitation Team. Whilst in service, they had repeatedly witnessed Care Providers refusing to take or struggling to cope with the unique challenges posed by young men from this background and realised they were in a position to help and so Elm Residential Care was born.
At Elm all our staff are highly trained around CCE/County Lines and extremely knowledgeable in areas including exploitation, youth violence, gang life, grooming and childhood trauma.

Finally, our goal is to help these young men leave our care with the skills and knowledge to walk into full-time employment. This is achieved by encouraging them to enrol with one of our many apprenticeship partners, including the Skills Construction Centre and 4Tech Moto.
